Pinterest--A Place to catalog the Things you Love

Just discovered this great site to create your own "boards" of your interests. You can explore the categories and view the images which others have posts. Get some great ideas for the home, etc. This is how the site describes itself:

What is Pinterest?
Think of Pinterest as a virtual pinboard — a place where you can create collections of things you love and "follow" collections created by people with great taste.

People use Pinterest to collect and share all sorts of things -- wedding inspiration, favorite T-shirts, DJ equipment. You name it, people are pinning it.

We know you have great taste in something. Our mission is to make Pinterest the best place for you to share your taste with the world.

Here are some examples of pins:

Hannah's three girls

Last blog post had a pitiful picture of Evalin in the hospital. She is growing over 12 pounds now and really a beautiful baby. Her big sisters love her and are really a great help to Hannah. Everyone in Indiana is looking forward to having them visit for Christmas.

Thanksgiving in Oregon

Larry and I flew out to Portland to spend Thanksgiving with Hannah, Josh, and the girls. Trevor also was able to fly out and spend a few more days than Larry and I could. There is an abundance of Christmas tree farms around Portland--everywhere!! Here is a picture of the tree which Hannah and the girls picked out. The man cut down the tree and it was $30. Today, Larry is going to Lowe's to buy a tree for about $60 and I'm sure that it will not be as "fresh" as the Oregon tree.

Evalin Ruth Hackbarth

We welcomed into the world, Evalin Ruth Hackbarth, our 4th granddaughter on Friday, October 9. She has had some issues with fluid in her lungs and a collapsed lung, or pneumothorax, (collection of air in the space around the lungs.) Mommy, Hannah, was released from the hospital on Sunday morning and was able to hold Evaline for the first time today (Sunday). She appears to be improving everyday.
